The latest official build of XenonMKV is build 34 (”Delicious Pie”), which was released on 2008-09-27.
About this Release
XenonMKV works on modern Windows versions (2000 or newer) and supports Vista and 64-bit environments. You will need the .NET Framework 2.0 redistributable, which usually comes from Windows Update. If you’re having trouble starting XenonMKV on Windows 2000, XP or 2003, consider downloading and installing the redistributable package. You may also need the .NET Framework 1.1, which is also available from Windows/Microsoft Update.
While XenonMKV does not require any third-party codecs to be installed, if you want to watch the output files on your computer, it is suggested that you install the appropriate video and audio decoders. Recommended packages include CCCP for video and AC3Filter for surround audio.
Application source is available in the SourceForge SVN system. You can check out a copy of XenonMKV by pointing your Subversion client to the following URL, then selecting the “trunk” directory:
https://xenonmkv.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/xenonmkv
XenonMKV will probably require Visual Studio 2005 Professional for the assembly signing in the build process. You may be able to get Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition to load the project with some minor fiddling.
Some older versions (probably useless, unless you’ve got a good reason) are available from the SourceForge download page.
