Please take note of the following requirements when posting a new thread in Support, or adding information to an existing thread.
If you are posting about any problems:- Please make sure you are using the latest supported release of XenonMKV, available from http://mkv.jakebillo.com/download.
- Try and keep all details about the same issue in the same thread.
- Provide as much detail as possible about your problem. Some good things to include are:
- The filename or release name. If you don't feel comfortable with posting this in public, please PM or email me (jake at jakebillo dot com) with a link to your post. While I don't condone copyright infringement, I can check NFO information for these files and look into commonly reported specifications with their names.
- A copy of the application log file. You can find it in log.txt and log_output.txt under the XenonMKV folder. Either post it here, or use a service like PasteBin to upload it. There's a reason the log is created and it's to help troubleshoot issues.
- Is the problem always present? Does it go away when you try a different file, or do all MKV files give you the same issue?
- System information and any settings you might have changed - which version of Windows do you have installed? CPU type? Hard drive/scratch folder letters and info?
Posts that contain only a minimum of information will likely not receive a response. I'll try and get to everyone's requests, but it really helps if I can replicate the problem on my development system to fix it.
